Like around 90% of 2020, the Prospect Music Award is going to be a little different. We wanted to tell you all of the ways that we're adapting to the COVID-19 pandemic but still ensure that we create the same awards show we all know and love.
At the Prospect Music Award, our main concern is making sure that everyone working for us is safe at all times. Because of this, we are keeping a close eye on all Government guidelines both locally and nationally and abiding by all laws and restrictions and tweaking Prospect to match them.
All meetings with everyone involved with the Prospect Music Award are happening remotely via video calls with all staff at home.
Two out of our three shows on YMCA Digital will be recorded in our studio under strict social distancing guidelines in and around the building. Only the presenter will be inside the studio who will then be cleaning the microphone and equipment straight after use.
Our third and final show will include all five judges plus some special guests. Unlike our previous two broadcasts, this show will be conducted remotely via a call due to not being able to social distance in our studio.
Our production team may have to interact with each other face to face, however, this will be done through social distancing and all of our team within close proximity will have to wear facemasks.
